We are seeking mid-experienced and junior SQL Developer in Banking Data to join our team in Corporate and Investment Banking. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team to design, develop and maintain data platforms and data pipelines through SQL queries development.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-country teams to integrate data from various sources
- Design, develop and maintain data hub’s repository of SQL Queries using Spark-SQL and airflow workflows
- Implement data governance processed and ensure data quality
- Write effective code and conduct code review
- Test the developments implemented and help other functional team members to perform their own tests
- Mid-experienced: act as a caretaker of junior developers and mentor them
- Stay up-to-data with emerging trends in data development and finance in industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering (preferable in finance) for mid-experienced.
- Solid knowledge of SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
- Basic knowledge of Jenkins/nexus/github/urbancode…
- Dedication to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, with a focus on TDD and code reviews
- Knowledge of Scrum process and tools: Jira, Confluence
- Team player, pro-active, self-organized
- Analytical and logical thinking, problem solving
- English (at least B2+)

Nice to have:
- Experience in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of databricks (user level)
